The Arusha Hotel

The Arusha Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in East Africa, welcoming guests since 1894 and standing at the Clock Tower in the centre of Arusha, the gateway town for northern Tanzania safaris. The town grew up around it, and the hotel still has a traditional, old world style, with Mount Meru rising behind and leafy gardens that are quieter than the busy town outside.
