Soroi Larsens Camp

Soroi Larsens Camp is a luxury tented camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River inside Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya. The river is the lifeline of this dry, rugged country, drawing elephants and other wildlife to drink. Accommodation comes in two styles: river tented suites with king-size beds and decks overlooking the water, some with a small nook for a child, and deluxe tented suites with an outdoor shower, plunge pool, fireplace and butler service. There is a swimming pool, bar, firepit and spa, and a photographic hide overlooking a waterhole gives a ground level view of visiting animals. Meals use produce from the camp’s organic garden and can be served under the stars, and a star bed sleep-out can be arranged. Activities include morning and evening game drives, guided bush walks, sundowners, birdwatching, stargazing, cultural visits and day trips to the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. With children’s activities on offer, the camp suits families as well as couples and photographers.
