Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Inside Amboseli National Park, facing Kilimanjaro
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is set in a grove of acacia trees beside a natural spring in the heart of Amboseli National Park, with gardens that look out towards Mount Kilimanjaro. Its central location means short drives to the plains and wetlands where Amboseli’s large elephant herds gather, and wildlife can often be seen from the grounds. The lodge is built in a low, single-storey style decorated with local craftwork, offering twin, double and family rooms as well as interconnecting rooms and a suite with its own rooftop terrace. Many rooms have private balconies facing the plains. A palm-shaded swimming pool, a restaurant with outdoor seating, a bar and lounge and a kids club give you places to relax between drives, and massages are available. Sundowners and bush dinners can be arranged, and guests are invited to plant a tree as part of the lodge’s reforestation programme. Monkeys are often seen in the grounds. The lodge suits families, first-time safari travellers and photographers hoping to capture elephants beneath Kilimanjaro.
