Enchipai Camp

Enchipai Mara Camp is a tented camp near Mara Rianta on the western side of the Maasai Mara, a short drive from the Oloololo Gate. This puts it within easy reach of the Mara Triangle, the well managed western sector of the reserve, and the Mara River, where the wildebeest crossings take place during the migration season. Kichwa Tembo airstrip is about half an hour away, so guests can fly in from Nairobi. Accommodation is in spacious tents with valley views, each with a balcony and a rain shower. Deluxe tents suit couples, while larger two-bedroom family tents can sleep up to six, which is useful for families or friends travelling together. The camp has an outdoor pool for the warm afternoons between game drives, along with a restaurant serving international dishes, a bar and a terrace. Days are spent on game drives across the open plains in search of lion, elephant, cheetah and the great herds of plains game. Enchipai suits families, small groups and first time visitors to the Mara looking for a comfortable base on the quieter western side.
