Ashnil Mara Camp

Ashnil Mara Camp is a tented camp inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, on its western side near the Mara River. Staying within the reserve means less time travelling and more time watching wildlife, and the Mara River is the setting for the famous wildebeest crossings during the annual migration. Hippos and crocodiles are often seen in the river close to camp, monkeys play in the trees, and the tents look out over the open plains. Tents are comfortable and practical, with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, mosquito nets and private sun decks, and single, double and triple configurations are available. After a morning game drive you can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool, book a massage or browse the gift shop. The restaurant and bar serve a mix of international, oriental and local African dishes, with children’s meals and special diets catered for.
