Sentrim Tsavo Lodge

Sentrim Tsavo is a tented camp close to Tsavo East National Park, about twenty minutes’ drive from the Voi Gate. Tsavo East is one of Kenya’s largest and wildest parks, known for its wide open spaces, the Galana River and its famous red, dust-coated elephants, and Voi Gate is a convenient entry point for game drives. The camp has 25 tented rooms in single, double and triple layouts, each with an en-suite bathroom and hot shower, tea and coffee facilities and a furnished patio. The rooms face a waterhole that draws wildlife throughout the day, especially elephants, so there is often something to watch without leaving camp, and at night the sounds of the bush come close. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a children’s section, a hot tub, a restaurant, a bar and lounge and a picnic area. The camp uses solar power. Sentrim Tsavo is a practical, good value choice for families and travellers combining Tsavo with the Kenyan coast or with Amboseli and Tsavo West, and it works well for shorter safaris from Mombasa or Diani.
